Account Manager – Government, Transport & Utilities/Service Providers

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate as lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customer
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Develop trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customers, stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Responsible for new customer / market development
  • Motivate and lead the team to meet and exceed sales target
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
  • Candidate with Network Infrastructure sales preferred

 

Essential Duties

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
  • Experience in development and execution of major accounts, delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs would be an added advantage
  • Good industry knowledge, customer relationship skills and business acumen
  • Minimum 2 – 3 years proven track record of sales and account management
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Network Engineer (Post Sales Support), Project & Service Management

Job Responsibilities:

  • To provide engineering support activities remotely or onsite. Rotational 24 x 7 standby duties required.
  • To provide professional services including project management, implementations, testing, migrations, and system documentation for projects.
  • To provide periodic preventive maintenance on customers’ systems.
  • Offer technical advices to customers and follow up on trouble tickets till a satisfactory solution is concluded.
  • To develop test cases and conduct hardware & software regression tests on new software/hardware prior to deployment or proof of concept of solutions.
  • Logistic support of RMAs.

Requirement:

  • Tertiary Education in Data Communications or Computer Networks Engineering.
  • Self-motivated with strong sense of responsibility and urgency.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and cope with pressure.
  • Possess excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Preferably with experience in managing and implementing network infrastructure projects for service providers, banks and large enterprises.
  • Able to work flexi hours (even after office hours when required).
  • Preferably with good knowledge and hands on experience in any of the following areas:
  • LAN, WAN, WIFI technologies, VLANs, STP/RSTP, RIPv1/v2, OSPF, ISIS, BGP4, MPLS-TE, MPLS-VPN, 802.1x, QoS.
  • Network security solutions such as firewalls, CPE based IPSec VPN solutions, token-based authentication solution, intrusion detection system, antivirus gateway, data encryption and PIN verification systems.
  • Appliance based proxy solutions and anti-virus security gateway.
  • Appliance based Server/firewall/WAN load balancers. WAN Optimisation systems and Applications Acceleration systems.

Software System Engineer - Network Automation

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to pre-sales and post-sales team on API capabilities of Juniper JUNOS, NorthStar Controller, Contrail, Junos Space, or any relevant 3rd party SDN/NFV orchestration software
  • Provide technical support to pre-sales and post-sales team on capabilities of common network automation tools such as Ansible/Chef/Puppet, Jinja2/ERB, Shell script, etc.
  • Perform network automation related project design, rollout, application architecture, workflow, development, testing, implementation, etc.
  • Perform Proof of Concept (POC) testing on network automation applications.
  • Share and influence software engineering best practice to the team and customers.
  • Perform engineering support activities remotely or onsite.
  • Develop and maintain network automation tools/scripts that can improve efficiency in network operations, increase speed and accuracy of network changes and assist in diagnosis and remediation of advanced network issues.

Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related technical field.
  • Preferably experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the modern programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the network automation tools, such as Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix system configuration, administration, and shell scripting. Working knowledge of OpenStack, virtualization and container preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design.
  • Understanding of one or more common API and data schema of networking elements, controllers, and orchestrators, such as RESTful, NETCONF, JSON/XML, YANG and OpenConfig.
  • Advanced software engineering skills, including the ability to write expert-level, maintainable and robust code considered a plus.
  • Working knowledge of networking technologies, in particular IP Routing (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, HSRP, etc), IP services (such as DHCP, NAT/PAT, ACL, IP SLA, etc), and enterprise services (Optimization, Firewall, UTM, Load Balancer, Deep Packet Inspection, etc).
  • Able to take a leading role in building complex software systems that have been successfully deployed in production is considered a plus.
  • Strong interest in Software Engineering, Programming, Scripting and Development Work.
  • Highly autonomous, detail oriented and possess excellent written and communication skills.
  • Able to work flexi hours (even after office hours when required).
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources.
